Certified Financial Planners Now Get
Continuing Education Credit for ChFEBC Course
The Board of Certified Financial Planners (CFP) has recently accepted the Chartered Federal Employee Benefits Consultants (ChFEBC) course for continuing education credit.
CFP certificants must complete at least 30 hours of continuing education every two years, according to the CFP website.
CFP certificants get 14 continuing education credits (CEs) for taking the "live" (2-day) ChFEBC seminar, or 5 CEs for the independent study ChFEBC course.
